Gameday

Whether you’re playing or watching, hosting gameday is something we’re proud of. Find information here for players, supporters and visiting teams.

This is what we train all year for, right? Game Day! We encourage players to be as prepared as possible for the day so we can run smoothly and concentrate on what’s happening on the field.

Your coaches will have given you a brief during training in the previous week on what to expect for each individual game through the season, so this is an overview that applies to all home games. Game info will be posted on Facebook, so make sure you’re following Cambridgeshire Cats.

Getting here: Home games take place on the training grounds, with parking facilities remaining the same as training weeks.

All players must arrive 2.5 hours before kick off for a full warmup. For example, for a 14:30 kick off, players must arrive at 12:00 to be on the field with their kit at 12:30.

Facilities: Changing rooms and showers for players are located in the Abbey Leisure complex.

Whether you’re here to support friends or family on the team, or just want to check out American Football on your doorstep, we’re delighted to welcome all supporters to Coldham’s Common. You can find our upcoming fixtures here, or on our Facebook page. Here’s an idea of what you can look forward to:

Watching the game

We advise all supporters to be at the grounds no later than fifteen minutes before kick-off.

The player’s and coaches areas are clearly marked with tape, so it’s of utmost importance that you stay behind these lines at all times for your safety; this goes for small wandering Cambridgeshire Cubs and well-behaved Cambridgeshire Dogs, too!

You’re welcome to bring camping chairs, picnic blankets, small shelters etc.

Please bear in mind there is no shelter on Coldham’s Common so you’ll need to come prepared to cope with whatever weather we have on game day!
