Players and Coaches welcomed the warm weather this weekend. Yet another reminder that the season is not far away.
The final preparations are being made. The roster review is expected soon. We are still recruiting and seeing new faces turn up each week. This is obviously very welcome news, as Division One football demands teams to be resilient to injuries. Our unofficial photographer, all round great guy, Dik Ng came along to training armed with his camera. Be sure to follow our social media platforms to see his handy work.
Unfortunalty, D-line coach Dan Vicsik has had to step aside this season, due to family commitments. Coach Dan recently became a father, and like so many people involved in British American Football, needs to balance his time between family and football. We completely understand and respect his decision. We look forward to seeing Dan back next year. In the meantime, his right hand man, Adam Blowers will be stepping up to fill that gap in the coaching line-up.
Only 2 more Sundays stand between now and our first game, on 10th April. We will be hosting the tenacious London Hornets for the season opener. It is always a solid fixture and we hope that many of our fans will be there to cheers us to victory. More the game to come soon. We will also be keeping you up to date on the day, via social media.
