The final regular season game of 2009 sees the London Cobra's make their first ever visit to Coldhams Common. With both teams having qualified for the playoffs this game could go either way however with boths teams pride at stake as well as the potential for the Cobra's still to reach the number 1 seed then my money is on this being a good ol' slobber knocker. The Cats have some pride to regain after defeats on the 2 previous games we have played against the Cobra's at Boston Manor. As the Cobra's visit Coldhams Common for the first time, the Cats will be fighting to protect their home record as well as maintain momentuem heading into the playoffs.

With the Cats and Saxons at opposing ends of the BAFL 1 South East Conference, Sunday's game was a key game for both teams. With the Saxons looking down the barrel of not only having the double done on the by their local rivals for the second straight year, but also the possibility of relegation straight back to Divison 2. Despite the Saxons coming off a grulling schedule and playing with a weakened squad, this was not a game to be taken lightly if the Cats we to maintain their impressive debut return to Division 1.

This was a make or break game, a victory and we made it to the playoffs, a defeat and it meant that a victory vs the Cobra's would stand between us and the playoffs, something that no team has so far been able to do in the senior league.
